Random thoughts

I scored a Nordic Track Bike today for the office!  My company has another office (formerly used by adult services) adjacent to our office. They closed that office a few months ago, and today they were clearing it out for a big company rummage sale tomorrow morning.  The crew asked if we wanted anything.  We got desk chairs, a table for the kitchen, and one of the exercise bikes. Now we have something that we can use for a quick workout any time!


Tomorrow evening I'm going on an overnight trip.  I'm part of the Women's Ministry Servant Leadership Team at my church.  Our team is heading to a cabin in the mountains to do some strategic planning.  I'm hoping to get in some hiking to spice up my workout.

I have been doing the C25K (Couch to 5K) program, and I've now completed W3D1 (Week 3, Day 1).  Would you believe this fat girl ran 3 minutes straight---TWICE today!?!?!?  I am actually starting to believe I can be a runner!  I may not be fast, but I'm running!

  2. Way to go with the C25K. I am planning on starting in March, its to cold to walk/run outside and I don't have a gym membership.
